Samuel A. Kleiner is an economist at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). His focus is on health economics, health policy, and antitrust. Before he joined his colleagues at the FTC, he was an Assistant Professor at Cornell University. At Cornell he taught undergraduate and graduate students and conducted research on health economics and health policy, with a focus on the study of hospitals and health care providers. He is a member of the American Economics Association and the American Society of Health Economists.
